Aspen trip to Groombridge Place
Aspen class had a wonderful day exploring Groombridge Place. Focussing on their Science topic of Living Things, the children enjoyed the Enchanted Forest and classifying the various wildlife there. They were fortunate enough to see deer close up, as well as spotting an eagle in flight. The woodland threw up many surprises, including physical challenges like the treetop walks, and sculptures and wood carvings that stirred the children’s’ imaginations. The class represented the school fittingly, and returned suitably happy and worn out from a good day exploring nature and its living things.
