Safer Internet Day
This week we took part in National Safer Internet Day. Aspen class discussed what types of online activity made them feel positive, and what made them feel negative. They related this to real life – and how it is just as important to show Christian values in our online behaviour (kindness, love etc) as it is in everyday life. Oak class looked at different online scenarios and discussed how they felt about the different situations. The children were able to demonstrate their knowledge about not sharing personal details online, but also looked in detail at how their behaviour online can affect other people and what they can do to ensure they are all responsible with their posts and messages. Catkin and Acorn class learned what to do if they see something unkind online – using the report button and telling an adult.
