The Village Academy

The Village Academy is a group of town, city and village schools that have joined together to provide the very best education for the children in our care and where we believe that education is very much a matter of the individual.

This year our school council is:

Year 1 Lily and Kaileb

Year 2 Jessica and Hayden

Year 3 Thomas and Eva

Year 4 Bella and Wesley

Year 5 Roxy and Tai

Year 6 Imogen and Jayden

Update: Term 2

School council have organised a bake sale as part of our children in need day.  They organised the donations and selling of cakes and in total raised well over £100.  You did a fantastic Job School Council!  Later in the term the school council will be visiting local care homes to perform Christmas carols - Mrs Foord.

Term 3

Term 3 saw the School Council leading a celebration assembly for parents at the end of our Faith Art Week, where they shared the learning that took place and explained what art might look like in other faiths.  The School council also had the idea to display art in each class as a gallery for parents and carers to view.  Parents and carers kindly donated to the school fund for the privilege of viewing the fantastic creations, raising over £100.  The money will go towards us resourcing another themed week in the future.  Thank you to all our lovely Milstead families, for your generosity and as always your wonderful support.  Mrs Foord
