Admission to School in September 2025

Your school space will be offered on Wednesday 16th April 2025. 

If your child is due to start primary, infant or junior school in 2025 and you are refused a place at one of your preferred schools, you can make an appeal to KCC which must be done by Tuesday 20th May 2025. A further allocation by KCC will then take place by the end of May. AT this point if you still do have your school preference you can go onto a school's waiting list. If you do not get you preferred school and would like to consider Milstead as a small, welcoming, rural school for your child then please contact the school office. 

In-Year Admissions

At present we do have spaces so if you are interested in please contact the school office and you will need to complete the In Year Casual Application Form (IYCAF). This is available from the school office or from KCC Admissions In Year Admission Form and should be returned to the school. We will then contact you and advise of next steps. 

Admission Consultation

We are required under the School Admissions Code 2021 to review our admissions policies annually and consult at least once every 7 years, even if there have been no changes during that period. Please see below for admissions policies. 

Admissions for September 2026!

If your child was born between the 1st September 2021 and 31st August 2022 they will be due to start school in September 26! Check back to see our exciting schedule to see what we can offer your child and family at Milstead and Frinsted C of E Primary school. We will be opening our welcome sessions from September 2025.
