Intent

Implementation 

Our Design Technology curriculum is an integral part of this vision. It is structured around core areas such as food technology, textiles, and mechanisms, allowing pupils to develop both the practical skills and theoretical knowledge necessary to plan, create, and critically evaluate their work. Our pedagogical approach encompasses the vital stages of teaching—revisiting, instructing, practising, and applying—ensuring that learning is deep, robust, and sustainable. We encourage our students to experiment and innovate, reinforcing their ability to connect new ideas with prior knowledge, thus enabling them to cultivate resilience in the face of challenges, much like the biblical notion of multiplication as exemplified by Jesus when He blessed the loaves and fishes.
